i awoke to a capitalist madness
a vicious cycle
for title and place
america's matura
"pursue debt with post haste"

dreams drawn in clarity
yield to pens costing a dollar seventy
a manuscript veiling my perception
left this vagabond eating his characters
to feed a hunger drawn from starvation
